I called Water Heaters Only in the morning and their service technician, Lucas, was there about 2 hours later. About 90 minutes after deciding to replace the water heater the new unit was installed. I woke to find water in the garage from our 20 year old water heater that was leaking. I did a search for companies in the Tracy area that could replace the unit and was contacted by Water Heaters Only about 10 minutes later. I spoke with David who went over the companies history with me and provided a quote. I was impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of the discussion to make sure they were providing the right service for me. The next morning their Technician Lucas arrived right on time. He quickly did an assessment and gave me a firm quote which included replacement of the shut off valve that was corroded and some replumbing of the overflow pipe that would be needed for the new heater. Lucas was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and was a pleasure to talk to. The location of the water heater was difficult to access and I was impressed that he was able to complete the work in 2 hours. The job Lucas did was very professional and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the service I received. I would highly recommend Water Heaters Only for quick professional service and ask for Lucas, he was great!

I returned home on 24 April 2024 to see water draining from my garage. My water heater had busted open. I called the repair name on my heater (Water Heater Specialists). They assigned David to the repair, and he made it to my home very quickly. He assessed the status and ordered a replacement. His knowledge and his care was greatly appreciated. And we were able to talk about the work and or hometowns to make it feel as if a good friend had come to replace my water heater. Came back from vacation only to discover the 10-year old water broke. Lucas showed up on time, and is professional . Because the way in which the tract builder constructed the space for the water heater, and the A/C next to it, I needed someone who explained how he was to go about installing the new one. That's important to me. And, I liked that the new 40-gallon unit is made in the Michigan, not over seas. I have no problems recommending Water Heaters Only.

I had to replace my water heater, it was leaking and it was too old to fix it. I called waterheatersonly, and got an approximate cost for a replacement. Luis came in the next day and did the job. It has been 3 months and I do not have any issue with the new heater. Thank you.

Our old water heater sprung a leak on a Friday night, so we thought we'd be showering with cold water for at least the weekend, but Water Heaters Only showed up bright and early Saturday morning and fixed us up. We went for the cheap like-for-like replacement of our gas tank water heater, so it was quick and easy. The price was good as well.

Our job required the installation of a standard 50 gal tank and a huge 100 gal tank in a very tight environment. A tech arrived as promised on a Sunday afternoon. The tech, Lucas, was knowledgeable, prepared and excellent at communicating what needed to be done. Lucas did a relatively quick 'n clean installation of our new water heater after our last one, installed in 2006, started leaking. He did a great job of describing the new model, the warranty, expected time to be finished and price. The price was actually reduced by $150 because it took less time/work to be installed. The estimate was literally in the middle of the "it will cost between X" amount! I don't think I've ever had an estimate so on the nose.
Secondly, the technician they sent, Wesley was communicative, polite, professional, and most importantly to me, he explained things clearly - from bringing our installation up to code, to showing me the how-to of my water heater.
I would highly recommend Water Heaters Only!

We were told we had to have our water heater replaced. We called and got a quote and we were able to get a appointment for installation the next day. Loni came to do the replacement and he was knowledgeable, worked efficiently while making everything up to code for us. Loni also made sure to explain everything to my grandma and didn't mind her asking questions. We would highly recommend Water Heaters Only if you need any work or replacement on your Water Heaters. They (WHO) installed my previous water heater 15 years ago ... It was still working but it has passed its life expectancy. I called to replace it. They had an opening the following day. Lucas, technician, called within the window and arrived on-time. very professional and friendly (Five stars)

I called Water Heaters Only to get a cost estimate for replacing my 20 year old water heater. They asked me for the details of my old heater, and then gave me the likely price range. I called a couple more places to make sure the price was in range and then called back and scheduled an install date. Loni, the technician knew exactly how to handle all the issues that came up like the drain valve being clogged up with 20 years of mineral deposits. He didn't balk when I wanted to save as much of the draining water as possible in barrels and buckets to dump on my garden instead of just letting it run down the street. He had the whole job done in just a couple of hours. The new heater is providing nice hot water at the lowest temperature setting. If my new heater wears out( hopefully not for another 20 years), I would call Water Heaters Only again.

My technician was Lucas. He was patient as I was asleep. He waited about 3 minutes at the front door. He greeted me with a smile. Gave me the estimate which I thought was responsible but painful. He was knowledgeable with the few questions that I asked. He completed the job in the estimated time he told me. He left the area he was working in as clean or better than it was to begin with. I am fully satisfied and will recommend WHO to friends and neighbors. P.S. called WHO at 5:30 am and was able to get Lucas out to me before noon the same day.

Good experience overall... easy scheduling, and then John showed up on time and enthusiastically answered all our questions. He carefully made the necessary upgrades to make sure we were up to current code and obviously has a good work ethic. Price was about the same as other installers I called, and was within the price range I was quoted on the phone, with no surprise charges.

Just had a terrific experience with this company. The people on the phone were courteous and professional and Mack the installer did a terrific job installing the new water heater. I've replaced my own water heaters in the past but just didn't feel like doing it this time. I was concerned that someone other than myself would cut corners or do the job less better than myself. Well, initial customer service was great, they scheduled me asap for a leaking water heater that was 16 years old. However, there was a scheduling mix-up and they didn't show up and couldn't find my call in their records... forgiving them tho because I know their electricity was down (along with their whole area) the night I called them. So they rescheduled asap and nice guy showed up about an hour after I called, seemed like he knew what he was doing. Suddenly water is POURING out of the heater and he asks me to take over for him (he was holding a bucket under outpour) so he could turn water off. He found my main water supply and turned it off fairly quickly. My small laundry room flooded but fortunately water heater was right by back door on ground floor and I was able to toss buckets of water outside the open door and also fortunate that it barely reached my carpet outside laundry room. He helped get water out and dry everything, gave me a decent discount on the whole service, and in the end it turns out the builders of my home had put a faulty shutoff valve in the original water heater (there was no shut off mechanism in it!) He did however bump into my wooden gate in So I am giving them 4 stars even tho the whole thing was stressful, he did his best and in the end it wasn't his fault. New water heater seems great.

Quite happy with their service! Our initial installation of the water heater was done back in October 2018, but we had a problem with our recirculation pump recently. Since the first installation, Beni was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. He came out again for my circulator, found the problem right away and replaced it within one hour. This service was done the next day after calling the customer service!

Customer service was top notch beginning with the initial call to corporate to get an appointment scheduled for the following day. The service technician Beni was fantastic and completed the task of installing a new unit (which he had on his truck) with remarkable efficiency. Would not hesitate to recommend "Water Heaters Only".

I am glad both 800# Rep & Installer took time to "educate" me about difference between W.H.Only and big box stores like Lowe's & Home Depot. W.H.Only will stand behind their work 365 days *beyond installation date* while big box stores will have a plumber Remove & Install new water heater, period.
I find Benny the Installer to be Honest, Knowledgeable & Thorough -- Thumbs UP!!! the 800# Rep was Paul (to best of my memory.)
